AWARDS TO HEALTHY CITIES

 
To encourage cities to continue to innovate and demonstrate effective and efficient ways of promoting and protecting health of urban populations, WHO and the Alliance for Healthy Cities recognize and award outstanding work in certain defined areas.
 



    WHO Recognition for Healthy Cities 2016


General Call – HEALTHY CITIES1 BEST PRACTICES2

Eligible applicants:  All cities in the WHO Western Pacific Region (WPRO)
Deadline for submission: 17 June 2016
How to submit: Please email your submission and supporting documents to the Noncommunicable Diseases and Health Promotion Unit ncd@wpro.who.int
Recognition: A plaque of recognition will be awarded to applicants who successfully demonstrate best practice in the following areas. Awardees will be announced at the Alliance for Healthy Cities 7th Global Conference, 29 August to 1 September in Wonju, Republic of Korea.
